Rush Limbaugh recently played a song on his radio talk show to remind us that there was a time of innocence. The song had made the top ten on America's Billboard list and remained there for many months. Edwin Hawkins was a pianist at Ephesian Church of God in Christ in California when he came up with the popular version of "Oh Happy Day" in 1968.
Back then, America embraced its Judeo-Christian heritage. Look at where we are now. Because too many of us have looked the other way, "progressives" have taken the lead with our families and youth. They've stolen our country from under our noses. It's time to put a stop to them.
I am not going to mince words. It was not a good day when President Barack Obama was sworn into office. With help from the media, he was able to get away with many lies about who he was. Nearly two years later, we now know the reason for the subterfuge. He has been extremely busy remaking America and turning our country into a Marx-inspired shambles.
