The Era of Extremism Is Over

April 2008. War is deception -- so said Muhammad, the prophet for Muslims in an axiom best illustrated by Daisy Khan in this extraordinary exchange back in 2008. The era of extremism is over? You don't say! Tell that to the 166 precious souls who were slaughtered and sexually mutilated in Mumbai. Tell that to the Jews in the tiny state of Israel who are living under siege (gas masks within reach). Tell that to France, which is on high alert as we speak, or to the operators of the puppet shows that are attacked in Indonesia, or to the thousands of New Yorkers and tourists who would have been blown to smithereens by the Times Square bomber.

Tell that to the eleven devout Muslims who were recently arrested in the cities of Marseille, Aubagne, Marignane and Bordeaux for trafficking firearms and explosives, or to the teams of jihadists in Europe that are ready to deploy, or to those jihadis who perpetrated the attacks on NATO convoys, or to the Muslims plotting to launch Mumbai-style jihad massacres in Britain, France and Germany, or to the Canadian celebrity on "Canadian Idol" who was busted for jihad.
